O'Fogarty harp

Probably made in the late 17th or early 18th Century

Also spelt O'Ffogarty, O'Ffogerty.

"Large Low Headed" design;
35 or 36 strings, longest 92cm

This harp was owned and played by the gentleman harper Cornelius O'Fogarty (1661-1730). It has remained in the ownership of his descendents ever since.
