Féileacán (The Butterfly) is marked in Bunting's manuscripts as the 4th, or 3rd, or 2nd tune learned on the harp:

In ms33(3) p.17 (f9r) he says “Second or third tune learned on the harp”; in ms12 f33r he says “4th tune taught the young harpers”.

The notation on p.45 of my book is copied from Bunting ms33(3) p.17 (f9r) which is not yet available from Queens University Belfast.
