History of the Irish harp, starting (rather oddly) in the Ancient Middle East, then jumping to medieval Ireland and coming up to the mid-20th century revival. Gaelic Scotland is largely ignored. Includes notes on the medieval harps, 17th century sources, etc. It contains a number of useful b/w photos of many of the harps, including nice profile views of harps that are otherwise rarely illustrated. Though it is now rather out of date, it is still a key source and you should have a copy in your collection. 80 pages.
