FOR SALE (Oct 2018)
This harp was made in Brittany, France, by Denis Brevet. I do not know the date of manufacture. It was unstrung a year or so ago, and it was strung under my advice, using the supplied phosphor-bronze trebles, and my red brass basses. It also has enough yellow brass to redo the basses in this metal instead.
Lowest string E/F below cronan G. 34 strings. The hollowed-out one-piece soundbox is Birch, the forepillar is yew and the neck is ash. The neck and pillar are carved and painted following the original.
Height of box is 97 cm. Width of base 30 cm. Top of box 10 cm. Neck to box 63 cm.
Price: £2000 or offers.
The harp is currently located in the Netherlands.
